So last month my boyfriend proposed and since then our parents have been wanting to meet each other. Tonight we had dinner together for the first time and everything went well. I actually have been stressing over it, worried that our parents won’t get along or that someone will say something stupid. Thankfully everything went smoothly and everyone left with a smile.

Lately I have been helping my mom cook so that I can learn how to make some of my favorite food when I move out. It is turning out to be a lot more fun and I am enjoying it thoroughly! Hopefully the taste will be the same as my mom’s.

Even though this winter season has been warm there are still plenty of people who take advantage of the free ice skating at Bryant Park.

My brother turns 25 this year and to celebrate we decided to eat out earlier as he had plans with friends on his actual birthday. My baby brother is all grown up now!

At the end of my block there is a nice family that runs a fruit cart. They normally come back mid-March but since this winter has been so warm they opened up earlier than usual.

This year my boyfriend (fiance) and I didn’t really do much. After running 5miles together we had some nice salad and watched the Knicks game. I guess this is what happens when you get engaged/married eh?
